Our mission is to provide our music faculty colleagues with the option and ability to foster a comprehensive, rigorous, and innovative online academic music curricula, consistent with the pursuit of artistic, professional, and scholarly excellence.

Our mission reflects two overarching principles - quality and access. Quality is achieved through qualified faculty.  Access is achieved when faculty allow admittance to ones music education to anyone who seeks it, regardless of location.
 
Now more than ever, young artists must aim for the highest levels of versatility in order to achieve success. They need the ability to move among diverse cultures and styles and work in a variety of interdisciplinary situations while developing advanced writing, speaking, playing, teaching, technological, and creative skills.
